There is a per-day fee for telephone service. Call ext. 2225 for cost information. Glen Cove Hospital’s telephone system allows you to receive calls directly. You may not receive calls after 10:00 p.m. A portable bedside TTY instrument and telephone voice amplifier are available at no extra charge for deaf and hearing-impaired patients.

Local Calls (anywhere in Nassau and Suffolk): Local calls are covered in the per-day telephone charge. Dial 9 plus the number.

Out-of-Area Calls: For an AT&T operator, dial 9 1 (800) 225-5288, or to make a collect call, dial 9 1 (800) 265-5328.

If you are dialing from inside the hospital and the exchange is 674, you only need to dial the last four digits.
